Objective:
Execution of Application Engineering for Agricultural products
Position Description:
- Executes major Application Project Engineering activities independently and updates the Manager on a regular basis
- Executes and monitors normative studies on government technical regulations or engineering application improvements, as needed to support sales and service
- Plans and implements improvements based on Annual Department Plans
- Keeps up to date in his area and informs the Manager to support policy decisions for long and short term
- Follows Engineering policies and procedures
- Takes charge of Application Project Engineering support based on a perceived need in local and Japan based production and Sales
- Participates in studies in Engineering organization and technology development and SWOT analyses in his area
- Maintains relations with local and foreign suppliers for support activities, inhibiting factors and work relations, for insights into developments in all this area
- Maintains relations with government authorities for support activities, inhibiting factors and work relations, for insights into developments in all this area
- Provides data for all Engineering reporting in his area
- Keeps information and business contacts with Engineering staff in Japan
- Prepares proposals, in cooperation with Production and Sales Departments what Application Project Engineering must be applied for customers

Skills/Education:
- Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering/automotive or equivalent
- 2 – 5 Year related working experience in a technical business-to-business environment
- Working experience in project planning
- Experience with agricultural applications is a plus
- 3D computer engineering, CAD
- Languages: written and spoken Dutch and English
- Strong communication skills
- Candidate must be able to work in a team as well as independently
