We are hiring for an innovative international automotive organization nearby Amsterdam. We are looking for a fulltime Country Accountant who will play a key role within a team of professional accountants. This team has 25 fulltime financial experts including 8 GL Accountants. The Country Accountant is responsible for the day-to-day management of the financial and administrative functions of the countries under responsibility with as main focus the general ledger and the monthly/quarterly reporting preparation for consolidation.
Responsibilities:
- Generating the general ledger before / after closing end journal entries
- Preparing of accruals, prepayments and provisions according to the policies of divisions.
- Completing monthly balance sheet and P & L account reconciliations
- Preparing periodic analyzes against P & L main accounts
- Manage money and bank transactions, subadministrators in AP, AR, fixed assets, and so on
- Support to management during the fieldwork of the audit
- Ensure the financial audits for the financial reporting in accordance with J-SOX
Our candidate:
- Bachelor Degree in Finance & Accounting and/or other related studies
- 5+ years of experience in Finance & Accounting
- Fluent verbal and written English, other European languages is an advantage
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and in teams, flexible and open-minded
- Experience with business/financial software packages (ERP systems, MS Escel, Cognos, Hyperion etc.)
