We are looking for someone that can work from our office in Tilburg, but it is also possible to work from our Maastricht premises.

Your duties as an IT Developer

As an IT Developer you will contribute to the optimization and professionalization of our organization. You will join our IT development team consisting of 5 developers, ranging from junior to medior and senior. Together we build and maintain tooling that helps our operation run smoothly. A big responsibility of the team is the data moving part. We develop webservices and are working on API’s and even build ETL jobs to smoothen data exchange and systems interoperability.

In your role as a developer you are a trustworthy colleague for management, colleagues and (internal) sponsors. You think and act proactively in IT solutions. You are GDPR aware and conscious about your responsibilities as a developer. Diversity in your role is guaranteed because we as a team are continuously evolving in a continuously evolving business environment.

Your duties are alternate, however the most important areas of attention are:

  • Helping in designing and building simple tools and applications
  • You are able to plan your work independently, are able to test and document your solutions
  • You are a real problem solver and like to find ways of improving the current situation
  • You are able to work with ETL jobs, would be nice if you know your way with Talend ESB
  • You like to sometimes step out of the day to day work and think about the future of the department 

Your area of operations

As an IT Developer you will join our IT development team. We are working on optimization of our business processes through implementation of tooling and through development of client specific services. We work closely together with other departments like HR, Finance, Reporting, Systems, Technical Application Management and Communications. When we develop client specific systems, Operations and Business Development are our points of contact and of course, Teleperformance sponsors.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an IT professional that is interested in developing and implementing applications. Your experience level is less important than your skill level. To become successful we believe that having a customer centric mindset is a must. Furthermore you are characterized by the following qualifications:

  • HBO Level education in IT;
  • Affinity with code and software design;
  • Experience or affinity with database management systems (Oracle), web services, ETL processes, PHP (OO), HTML 5, Java and one or more application frameworks and application servers;
  • Good command of English and Dutch, spoken and written.     
  • Experience in a Business Environment (1 or 2 yrs ), especially in a team is a plus;
  • Affinity with .NET or other object oriented programming languages
  • You like to have some work that needs to be completed quickly, along with tasks that take a longer timeframe to complete. This helps you in creating a balance between having a dynamic but stable working environment.
  • You like the dynamics of web tech and try to stay up to date as much as possible
  • You are searching to develop yourself in a professional way and like the challenge of working under pressure every now and then
