Overzicht


  • Responsible for the procurement process (RFQ, negotiation, supplier selection) in line with the overall sourcing strategy and business needs

  • Member of the AFM project team attributed and follow and communicate the status of procurement parts

  • Experience with the procurement and expediting of routinely, medium- value stock- and ETO-items (Engineering to Order). Sets up and manages bid requests for independently sourced items. Establishes contracts. Works with internal customers to identify understand and translate purchasing needs. Performs related purchasing activities, such as generation of purchase orders within pre-established spending limits and following-up on deliveries

  • Develops and implements Commodity Strategies and Sourcing plans. Focus on standardization of Diaphragm components within the scope of responsibility

Performance objectives:



  • Achieve procurement related saving in order to increase competitiveness, sales and margin for AFM market by negotiation

  • Achieve +95% On-Time-Delivery for AFM market

  • Define, implement and roll-out strategic projects which lead to cost-price reduction for several AFM categories

  • English (writing & speaking)

  • Dutch and German (nice to have) (spoken over written)

  • Industrial Engineering and Management (TBK) or Mechanical Engineering with commercial experience or Commercial Economics with technical experience or Preferable NEVI-I (nice to have)

  • Technical/Engineering judgement and interest (up to a certain level)

  • Technical education degrees are not a must, but preferred

  • Commercial experience (day-to-day and contract negotiation)

  • Good communication and team-player skills

  • Mobility & Travel Requirements

  • Traveling required up to ~5% maximum, in Europe

  • Experience: we prefer a candidate that has between 5-10 years of experience in Procurement


  • Effective communication skills, project management skills, sourcing understanding, pro-active behavior, experience with ERP systems, (medium to high-value) negotiation skills, knowledge of supply chain processes, procedures and theory
