De functie
The vacancy for Desk Manager Subsea Rock Installation is available within the Boskalis Intervention department. The Product Line Subsea Rock Installation (SRI) is responsible for the projects which are carried out by the Fall Pipe vessels, Rockpiper and Seahorse.
As a Desk Manager SRI, you support the Product Line SRI on the development and realization of additional and/or new business opportunities and coordinate the tender process within the SRI section. You report to the General Manager SRI, Boskalis Intervention Department.
Other duties:
• Identify and further develop SRI business opportunities;
• Conduct market research, focusing on new working areas and new business concepts;
• Stay up to date with developments in the rock installation works in both oil and gas and renewables industry and developments in installation techniques;
• Develop long-term relations with key clients and other relevant companies, authorities, P&I clubs, technical consultancy firms, legal firms, and other relevant parties;
• Responsible for the tender process including reviewing of bid documentation;
• Supervise and coordinate with Proposal Manager(s) and Tender Managers(s) and liaise with the General Manager during the tendering phase;
• Present approved proposal to clients, provide clarification(s), discuss and negotiate;
• Upon project award, coordinate ‘hand-over’ to Operations Manager (Projects);
• Evaluate tender process (both externally as well as internally).
Wie jij bent
- Higher vocational or technical University level;
- Several years of experience in proposal preparation and tendering;
- Knowledge of and experience with contract review and associated negotiations;
- Knowledge of business analysis, projections, and forecasts;
- Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office applications.
Extra informatie
The job of Desk Manager Subsea Rock Installation is a full-time position. Although you will mainly be based at the head office in Papendrecht, spending periods abroad is part of the job.
