If so, Manpower has a fantastic job opportunity for you at Dow Chemical in Terneuzen! Working activitiesIn your role as a logistics service coordinator, you are responsible for coordinating logistics services, including storage of Dow products as well as marine and road transport. Your goal is to ensure that goods are delivered throughout EMEA on time: You monitor shipments, ensure that communication is both smooth and timely and that products arrive as soon as possible and in the right quantity. You can expect to perform the following tasks:Meeting customer requirements to ensure on-time delivery and lowest cost-to-service product transportation to the specified final destination Monitoring timely shipments by logistics service providers from origin Identifying logistics service providers? non-compliance, taking appropriate action and supporting logistics Quality Measure resolution Monitoring and checking the shipment creation process, arranging transport, checking compliance with loading dates and/or times Resolving logistics issues in the material flow work process to ensure customer requirements are metIdentifying opportunities to improve work processes as well as service improvements, and to reduce costsVerifying whether logistics capability versus special requirements can be matched Ensuring the accuracy of logistics data and charges Managing non-standard orders, changes and exceptions requiring non-standard transport arrangements Checking, approving and booking (additional) logistics costs in SAP on timeHandling small claims procedure Communicating special delivery requirements to carriers and find alternative carriers to deliver specific shipments Registering non-compliances and associated corrective actions in the quality measureEscalating repetitive non-compliances to focal pointBeing on rotational call duty on weekdays from 16.30 ? 22.00 hrsJouw werkplekAbout the companyThe Dow Service Centre in Terneuzen, which employs more than 700 talented employees, is the international service provider for the Dow Chemical Company.
