Beschrijving
Als Design Engineer Mechanics ga je werken binnen de afdeling General Machinery die staat voor innovatieve ‘Custom built’ Drive en Control projecten. Daarbij worden zowel elektrische als hydraulische aandrijvingen gekozen voor diverse toepassingen.
Wat ga je doen?
- Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het mechanische deel van een of meerdere General Machinery projecten zoals:
- bewegingssystemen voor vlieg- en rij-simulatoren
- golfopwekkingsmachines
- theatertechniek systemen
- Marinesystemen zoals bevoorradingssystemen en helicopter verplaats systemen
- Je maakt samen met de Lead Design Engineer afwegingen over en neemt besluiten om tot de juiste technische oplossing te komen, zodat het systeem voldoet aan de specificaties van de klant
- Je initieert de noodzakelijke analyse activiteiten om de ontwerpen op sterkte en stijfheid telaten valideren en bent in staat de resultaten te beoordelen.
- Je hebt contact met klanten (intern en extern) vanaf het offertestadium tot en met eindoplevering.
- Je voert overleg met andere (soms buitenlandse) engineering afdelingen om samen tot een technische oplossing te komen
- Je bent betrokken bij de complete project lifecycle van concept, specificatie, engineeringen documentatie tot en met de inbedrijfstelling.
Hoe ga je dit aanpakken?
- Je benadert problemen praktisch gebruikt bestaande techniek waar mogelijk en bent innovatief waar nodig
- Grote systemen deel je op in deelsystemen
- Je ontwerpt de constructies zo veel mogelijk met standaard (Bosch Rexroth) onderdelenen sub-systemen
As Design Engineer Mechanics you are going to work in the department General Machinery, standing for innovative ‘Custom built’ Drive en Control projects, for which electric as well as hydraulic drives are applied.
What are you going to do?
- You are responsible for the mechanical part of one or more General Machinery projects like:
- Motion systems for Flight- and drive-simulators
- Wave-generators
- Technical systems for theaters
- Marine-systems like replenishment at sea or Helicopter Transfer Systems
- Together with the Lead Design Engineer, you make considerations and decisions to get the right technical solution so that the system meets the customer’s specifications
- You initiate the necessary analysis activities to validate the designs on strength and stiffness and are able to evaluate the results.
- You have contact with customers (internally and externally) from the offer stage to end-of-sale.
- You consult with other (sometimes foreign) engineering departments to come together to find a technical solution
- You are involved in the complete project lifecycle from concept, specification, engineering and documentation to commissioning.

- You approach problems practically using existing technology where possible and are innovative where necessary
- Large systems are divided into subsystems
- You design the structures as much as possible with standard (Bosch Rexroth) parts and subsystems

Wij vragen:
- Je hebt een afgeronde opleiding Werktuigbouw / mechatronica op HTS of WO niveau en minimaal 3 jaar werkervaring in vergelijkbare functies
- Je bent zelfstandig en resultaat gericht
- Je bent een echte teamspeler en gaat niet alleen voor persoonlijk succes
- Je bent communicatief sterk en stressbestendig
- Je beheerst de Engelse, en bij voorkeur ook de Duitse taal
We require:
- You have a completed Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering /Mechatronics and minimal 3 years of work experience in similar functions
- You are independent and result oriented
- You are a true team player and not acting only for personal success
- You are communicative strong and stress-resistant
- You are available to travel occasionally (inter) nationally for alignment with the customer onlocation
- You control the English, and preferably the Dutch and German language.
