General Summary of Job ResponsibilitiesTo disassemble, inspect, refurbish and/or modify, reassemble, and test DQ rental or Customer owned equipment in accordance with engineering drawings, standards, procedures, and shop loading schedules. Job DescriptionThis includes but is not limited to:

  • Receiving and reviewing documentation for all incoming material
  • Assisting the Logistics and Administration Coordinator in arranging transport for delivery of materials to suppliers / customers for inter-company movements
  • Completing Equipment Refurbishment Inspection Reports for the Base Manager to initiate customer actions
  • Issuing materials / products to the Workshop in accordance with Material Requisitions
  • Processing inventory stock documentation for Base Manager to allow stock orders to be carried out and stock levels to be maintained
  • Ensuring all safety issues are recognised / understood and that all safety risks are eliminated or minimised
  • Reviewing current methods and workflows with a view to driving further improvements
  • Taking ownership for own health and safety and quality of workmanship, and to influence others positively in this regard
  • Ensuring items removed from Stores are documented correctly, all tooling equipment is returned to the correct storage area when not in use, and all equipment is maintained in good working order with all faults being reported immediately.
  • Identifying the repair of equipment which can be assisted by other locations
  • Performing space out of tubulars and training others where necessary
  • Attending customer pre-spud and CWOP meetings
  • Consolidating the Service and Well files into the appropriate electronic master well file
  • Competing the Rig Tracker Report for all offshore rigs in operation in Dutch waters, to include tubular sizes and competitor information
  • Conducting customer sales calls / visits as and when required

Any other duties as are reasonably required to fulfil the objectives of the role.Job Requirements

  • Experience in a Mechanical and Offshore Environment
  • Strong interpersonal skill
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English
  • Organisational skills
  • Customer liaison skills
  • Basic understanding of SAP/ERP systems is desirable
  • Ability to adjust to changing priorities / work schedules
  • Knowledge of HSE requirements
  • First Aid certificate
  • VCA VOL certificate
  • Forklift Truck certificate
