We are looking for an order picker at a logistics company in Venlo. You are working in a small and close team with nice colleges.
In this warehouse you work with cosmetics and foodstuff. For example; lipstick, perfume and laundry detergent or dishwashing tabs.
Do you like working part time as on order picker with a pick-to-light system in hours between 06:00 and 17:15 (working hours will be in consultation)? Then maybe this is the ideal job for you! It also gives you the chance to schedule time with your family and/or kids. We can discuss the working hours together with you to see what fits you and the company best!
As an order picker you will be working at an assembly/production line. With a pick-to-light system you can see how many of which products you need to put in the carton box to complete the order.
This work happens in a high pace. It is important that you are not only precise but, in time, that you are also able to work in a high(er) pace. This will come in time when you have more experience with the order picking.
The working hours will be between 08:15 ‘till the work has done (usually a maximum time of 17:15).
Because of these working days and -hours, you will work an estimated hours of 20 to 32 hours a week. On Mondays the work usually starts at 06:00. At the end of every month it will be busier with preparing orders. That is why it’s necessary to work a few Saturdays every year (for example from 06:00 ‘till 12:00).

Functieeisen
– You have experience in working in logistics.
– You are looking for a part time job and you are available from Monday ‘till Friday.
– You do not have a holiday scheduled from the day you start ‘till week 33 of this year.
– You are prepared to work from Monday ‘till Friday in working hours between 06:00 and 17:15.
When it is extremely busy (mainly at the end of every month) you do not mind to work, for example, an hour longer.
– You do not mind working on Saturdays a few times a year.
– Because of the high value of the products in the warehouse, you are really precise and you find safety at your work very important .
– You are able to hand over a certificate of conduct (in Dutch it is called a VOG: Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag).
– You can speak English, Dutch or German.
– You do not have any problems with understanding and reading English. This is important because the warehouse works with a system which is in English.
– You are willing to work not only at this warehouse, but also at other warehouses from the same company. They all are in Venlo and are really close to each other.
Arbeidsvoorwaarden
The payment as order picker is 9.63 euro bruto per hour + 0.21 euro ADV (when you are 22 years or older). Travelling money will be 0.19 euro netto for every kilometre with a maximum of 6.92 euro netto each day.
