Part of the Philips Business Transformation program, we are developing standard processes and IT solutions for complaint handing and document record & control. Since these are critical, and regulated processes, it is essential we validate these processes and IT solutions according applicable standards and regulations. To help/support the Philips team in the validation execution, we are looking for experienced tester with QMS and software validation experience.


The QMS tester/SME will be a valuable member of a team testing the business requirements for a global platform for document and record control. Since these are critical and regulated processes, it is essential we validate these processes and IT solutions according applicable standards and regulations. Your daily functions will include writing, reviewing and executing PQ scripts that are generated to verify that user requirement specifications are met. You will interact with a variety of functions and roles including project management, product owner, scrum team, validation team, and internal customers. You will be the face of the product, and as such communicate to internal customers directly, during formal validation activities. You will translate the requirements of the customers into user requirement specifications.

For Philips YER is recruiting an interim QMS Software Engineer for at least June 2019.

Requested experience:



  • GAMP5/validation knowledge, experience with the type of verbiage to be used in describing test actions, expected results and actual results in scripts executions is required;

  • Need to have the preciseness and authoring consistency of an experienced tester, hands on experience with good documentation practices and verbiage used in validation cycles in general;

  • Need to be able to learn how the business process is supported by an application;

  • Location/Time zone is NL (CET), (not EST, not PT). Candidate must be able to visit Eindhoven at least 3 days a week, rest is fine working remotely;

  • Strong in Good Documentation Practices: Able to write /execute test scripts.
